Margaret was an incredibly warm and friendly host, breakfast was great, the room was nice and comfy—exactly what you need on a cold NZ winter night! Nothing.

The bed was very comfortable and the facilities excellent. Breakfast was yummy. Margaret was an exceptional host. The stay was very enjoyable and I would highly recommend it.

Cambridge Retreat proved a great stopover. The host was lovely and welcomed us into her home. The place was very clean and within walking distance of two restaurants and a small supermarket. A suggestion: mount a TV in the bedroom for guests and perhaps add a small fridge in the laundry/bathroom.

The home was lovely and well appointed with everything we needed. We were unaware that another couple would also be staying in the house and sharing the kitchen and lounge.
