“Relaxing!”

È stato un posto meraviglioso in cui soggiornare. I padroni di casa sono persone squisite e accoglienti. Le camere sono pulite, spaziose e molto confortevoli. Essendo di madrelingua inglese, ho potuto fare un po' di pratica con l'italiano senza sentirmi a disagio. È preferibile avere l'auto, dato che gli spostamenti a piedi richiederebbero molto tempo, ma questo garantisce anche grande tranquillità e relax. Mi è dispiaciuto davvero lasciare questo piccolo angolo di paradiso: era esattamente ciò di cui avevo bisogno dopo alcuni mesi stressanti. --- This was a wonderful place to stay. The hosts are lovely and welcoming. Rooms are clean, large, and very comfortable. As an English speaker I got to practice a bit of Italian without feeling silly. It's nicer with a car because it's a long walk anywhere, but that also means it's very quiet and relaxing. I was genuinely sad to leave this little slice of heaven, it's exactly what I needed after a few stressful months

“Toccata e fuga a Verona”

We found the property clean, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The stay (unfortunately only one night) was fantastic, from the welcome to the generous breakfast. The value for money is good.

The owner was kind and polite, but the stay left us quite dissatisfied given the price. The building was hard to locate; we couldn’t immediately find the entrance and the on‑site signage was unclear. The room looked nice but wasn’t clean – we found a lot of dust, even piles under the bed. The shower was uncomfortable and not very functional, making even a simple shower difficult. We slept badly because of mosquitoes that bit us a lot at night; even though the screens worked, they still got in, disrupting our rest. In the neighborhood, barking dogs and other animals woke us early in the morning. The breakfast, described on Booking as “delicious,” turned out to be rather basic and average; the description didn’t match the experience. We were shocked that the room wasn’t cleaned at all during the three‑day stay – the bed wasn’t made, even though Booking says room cleaning is included. The property is also a gym, so the shared spaces are used by gym-goers or the owner’s acquaintances, making it unclear how to navigate and enjoy the guest areas; separate entrances or spaces would have been much more functional.
