The location is close to the highway. The staff is very friendly. The room is clean, as well as the bathroom and toilet. We booked very last minute because of a delay and because the Gotthard turned out to be closed. For Swiss standards the rate is normal, but we found it very expensive for a room without its own toilet and bathroom.

I had a pleasant stay at Albergo Faido, booking a single room on a whim the night before. The room and shared bathroom were clean, and there were good dining options nearby. Everything was perfect for one night.

The location was great for a night’s rest after the Swiss roller‑coaster, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, and the shared bathroom on the floor was clean. The feather pillows were too soft, though.

The staff were friendly and the spot is well‑situated with great pizza. The room wasn’t very clean, looked a bit dated, and could have had air‑conditioning because it was hot and noisy from a construction site right next to the room.
