Casa Vermelha Alvor

The apartment is beautifully designed inside a renovated old building, spacious with a well‑equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and a dishwasher; the loft beds are comfortable, and the tiny inner courtyard gives the place an intimate feel. Parking is nearby and always available.

A stunning stay in a typical mezzanine‑style loft, stylish and modern, with a small terrace and a great rain shower. The beds were excellent, and despite being close to the centre, the nights were very quiet. Parking is in the side streets. Questions or issues are answered immediately, and we would definitely recommend this place and felt very at home.

“Another great stay and would book again!”

Another excellent stay at the property, fully equipped for a self‑catering break and conveniently close to local shops and restaurants. A little noise from neighbours and the busy street at night, plus the main bins right next door, can be disruptive, but if you’re prepared for that, it’s fine—earplugs help.

The location is great, just 5 minutes from all the bars and restaurants, yet far enough to stay quiet. The apartment itself is superb, with high‑quality appliances, air conditioning, a dishwasher, a fridge‑freezer, plenty of plates, cutlery, and cups, plus a nice little courtyard outside. The only issue was the lack of a curtain over the bathroom window, which could let in prying eyes; we covered it with a towel, so it didn’t bother us. Overall, 5 stars.
