Our stay was wonderful, from the lovely staff and hosts to the cozy rooms and great location; if you want a hidden gem to unwind and feel at home, Lonno Lodge is definitely the place to be, though it’s a bit too far from home to pop over for a long weekend whenever you wish. It’s such a special place and one we’d love to visit regularly.

I spent five nights with my wife at the end of September at Lommo Lodge and absolutely loved it. The place is peaceful, impeccably maintained, and surrounded by beautiful gardens that are perfect for relaxing. We stayed in the top‑floor room of the tower, which offered a great view and plenty of space. The restaurant and bar were very good and reasonably priced compared with other venues we’d tried. They organized a trip to Che Shale and Hell’s Kitchen for us, which turned out to be a fantastic day out. The lodge also made a noticeable effort toward sustainability, which we appreciated. Nothing to complain about.

We had a stunning rooftop room that was spotless. The service at Lonno Lodge is top‑class. Breakfast was excellent, especially the yogurt, and the drinks were well prepared. It’s truly a great place. Silvia and Aldo are very dedicated and enthusiastic. The two dogs are well‑behaved and adorable. We went on an excursion to Hell’s Kitchen; it was very impressive. For us, this is the go‑to spot in Watamu: Lonno Lodge. See you next time! The only thing to note is that because the property has a small number of rooms, dining a la carte at varied times isn’t possible, but that didn’t bother us. Watamu offers a variety of nice restaurants.

The staff were extremely kind and attentive. The room was magnificent and the facilities impeccable. We had a wonderful stay: thanks to Silvia and Aldo for the warm welcome and congratulations on the passion you put into your work every day!
