The location was excellent and very convenient for exploring Venice. We were first given a smaller room than the one we had booked and paid for, and we had to argue with the reception staff before they finally gave us the correct room. The receptionist was rude and showed very little consideration, making the experience unnecessarily unpleasant.

When we arrived to check in, the receptionist outright refused us because we were traveling with a 14‑year‑old son, telling us to move him to another hotel. She was rude and insulting, so we left that place and booked the next hotel instead.

The location is perfect, right on Canal Grande on one side and Via Nuova on the other, with breakfast served in a lovely Venetian‑style lounge and staff who are all very friendly.
