The detached house perched on the hill gave us a sunny backyard terrace that stayed bathed in light all day, with a wide‑open view that was hard to beat. The rural setting was pleasant, but we were constantly swarmed by flies and wasps, and there were no screens on the windows, so we couldn’t keep doors or windows open at night. With temperatures hovering around 30 °C, the spacious bedrooms got pretty warm.

The rooms are comfortable and the quiet, leafy surroundings with a terrace make it a nice spot, plus the kitchen is well equipped and it’s close to the circuit. The Wi‑Fi, however, was weak because the router is tucked away in a bad spot, which really hampered my work as a sports photographer and forced me to use my phone as a hotspot. Low door thresholds become a problem if you’re over 1.80 m, and the steep stairs with a shaky railing didn’t feel safe.

Everything about the place felt cohesive and well‑maintained; we had no complaints at all.

We loved the location – the views were fantastic and the house gave us plenty of room to spread out. The only downside was the heating system, which got noisy at night and was a bit annoying while we tried to sleep.
