Excellent breakfast with local products, very good jams. We really appreciated the welcome, the helpful visit tips, and the interesting mill tour. The secluded, refreshing spot and the beautiful building let us learn a bit about the history of this region on the border of the Sarthe and Mayenne. Many thanks!

The peaceful, beautiful surroundings and the house’s atmosphere, especially in Ste Suzanne, a lovely town. The beds creaked a little, otherwise they were good.

“Rustic charm in an authentic, bucolic French setting with excellent, attentive service”

The bucolic setting was quiet with only local birds in the evenings and mornings, which suited us. The lack of light pollution surprised us pleasantly with stunning night skies. The house, a former water mill, and its surroundings stayed authentic and rustic, not over‑developed or gentrified. The most charming part was the friendly, attentive host Christophe, who made our stay enjoyable. He cooked two excellent dinners, and the breakfasts were very generous. Initially, we were unsure which door was the entrance, but the warmth of the welcome made up for it!

“Chambre d'hôtes pour le moto gp”

The place exudes an exceptional calm, with a gorgeous garden that makes it feel like a peaceful retreat. The host is attentive and a superb cook, and the welcome is very warm and authentic. Be sure to dine at the moulin in the evening— the food is amazing!
