The meals were abundant and both dinner and breakfast offered an extraordinary, very tasty experience. It was disappointing that there was no place to get a replacement towel when using the onsen.

I had a decent stay here, the onsen was nice and the staff were really great. However, the facilities felt a bit old and the TV didn't get BS channels. Also, they didn't have any services for connecting devices or extra connectors, which was a bit inconvenient. The food was pricey, and the Tochigi beef was just okay - I mean, I get that older guests might not want super fatty meat, but a few sprigs of saffron would've been nice, not just the powdered stuff.

The onsen was pretty good, but the food timing was off. I liked the idea of cooking rice in a steam basket, but it took 40 minutes and by that point I was already stuffed. It would've been better if they'd served it earlier, or just brought it out sooner. That way, I could've enjoyed it more.
