The bathroom was nice. The bed on the upper floor was in a very uncomfortable spot. A smelly closet next to the bed emitted a bad odor, and a huge pile of trash was behind the nightstand. The evening gentleman was not at all friendly.

Everything overall is okay. An older inn with charm and a few guest rooms. Very well located centrally. The city center is easily reachable on foot. 1. There has been no breakfast there since the beginning of 2026! The very good breakfast reviews (apparently from the past) were a main reason for booking this hotel. 2. After we (a family of 9 travelers) chose the traditional check‑in at the reception instead of online, the staff on site was rather grumpy—because they have a computer system that requires a lot of data for each traveler. But in the end, he still completed that time‑consuming job relatively politely.
