The place is well situated, just a few minutes on foot into town. The spa, pool, and sauna were excellent. Rooms were comfortable with solid amenities. The concierge parking was a lifesaver for St Ives’ parking woes. The breakfast, however, fell a bit short.

A nice hotel with a great view and excellent breakfast. The rooms are very pretty and the location is good. Unfortunately the restaurant was already closed when we asked at reception if we could still get something to eat, and the staff said it wouldn’t be a problem. That was a bit unlucky. We then walked to St. Ives (10 min) and found a restaurant without any issues. The shower was very small. Overall, it’s a bit pricey.

The room was nice, the bed comfortable, and we appreciated the tea and coffee facilities and the pre‑dinner gin and tonic. Breakfast was superb, with plenty of choices and everything delicious. The restaurant is a lovely, tastefully decorated space overlooking the sea – a wonderful spot for breakfast. The hotel sits in an excellent sea‑view location. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. A few more hangers in the wardrobe would help. Our room had no view; it faced the road. If we return, I’ll definitely book a sea‑view room. We had a large bathroom with a shower over the bath, but a better design could include a walk‑in shower and more storage for cosmetics; currently the shower gel and shampoo are out of reach when bathing. The lack of a hotel car park is a bit annoying but understandable; the valet parking is very good, and the guy who parks your car is very obliging.

Great view over the bay. The hotel is well located. A bit dated. Breakfast was fine. Good for a layover, but for a longer stay I’d probably look elsewhere. The hallway was extremely ring‑noisy. The room wasn’t cleaned well; there were still clothes and belongings from previous guests in the room.
