The location was great, but the hotel was filthy—from the lobby furniture to the unusable Jacuzzi. Staff didn’t communicate well and didn’t understand simple English requests. I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it to business or leisure travelers; there are far better options. I expected so much more for the price, and a dirty hotel is unacceptable.

The hotel is ideally placed for exploring Washington, just a few steps from the metro line (about a 30‑minute ride). The rooms are very spacious and the breakfasts are excellent, while the pool and gym are of good quality. A big plus was the front‑desk staff, who gave us a room even though we arrived early (it was supposed to have a city view). However, the breakfast reservation fell through – we weren’t charged for it despite having booked it, and the reservation was for three adults but we only received vouchers for two people.

The room wasn’t cleaned for three days, so I had to call housekeeping.

The place was clean, convenient, quiet and comfortable. The waiter at the restaurant had a bit of an attitude; he was upset that we wanted plastic cutlery for breakfast, insisting that everyone must use their own silverware unless it’s theirs.

It’s close to the metro in DC, but the hotel’s quality is poor for the price and the staff were appalling for a place like this; local knowledge and communication skills were very substandard.
