The stay was a disaster – the accommodation did not match the listing for three adults. We had booked a unit that advertised a bed and a sofa‑bed for three, yet upon arrival we found the sofa‑bed was only about 1.70 m long, too small for an adult and the legs overhung the mattress. No pillows were provided. We asked the front desk for a solution. First they offered an extra bed, but it was the same size as the sofa‑bed and came with dirty sheets. Then they suggested putting the third person in a separate room on a mattress laid on the floor. Both options were unacceptable and did not meet the booking terms. We requested a cancellation and refund. The receptionist assured us verbally that it was possible and told us to contact Booking to send a confirmation to the hotel. We did so immediately, but the hotel never replied to Booking’s inquiries. When we returned to the front desk around 19 h, no one was there. We had to search for staff in the building. Finally someone told us the reception could close earlier than scheduled and refused to give us written confirmation of the cancellation and refund agreement. We lost almost two hours trying to resolve what should have been simple. In the end we had to leave and find another place at our own expense because the property simply could not accommodate three adults as advertised.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean, spacious and had all the appliances and essentials we needed, and it’s close to everything in Key Biscayne—within walking distance of restaurants. The TV in the living room didn’t work well and only offered one channel.

The location was excellent, the rooms were roomy and the staff were very friendly.
