Nice host and good breakfast, but the house and surroundings were poorly maintained; we arrived expecting it to have been abandoned for years, the restaurant offered only one dish, and meals were served at large communal tables that were very dirty with a thick layer of dust on horizontal surfaces, the toilet was also filthy, and the location is in a dilapidated town.

Breakfast was good and dinner too, but the facilities and surroundings were lacking, and the power outlets in the bicycle shed were loose.

For dinner there was a grill buffet for hotel guests, which was very convenient after a long bike ride; €15 per person was a very fair price. Breakfast offered a generous selection, all highly recommended.

It was basically idyllic, but unfortunately the outdoor area was not clean; the front yard had not been tidied.
