“Peterhead Overnighter”
The location was good for us as an overnight stay. The bed was comfortable and I like the fact that there were two pillows per person. The bathroom was a good size. Whilst there were steps, we left our big bags in the car. The steps were not too steep. The area, being near the quay, was unkempt. We were fortunate to get a parking spot near the rooms, but I was concerned about the narrow street. The occupants of the neighbouring rooms were a little noisy but settled down after 10.00pm
“Room 5 for 4 nights”
The room was clean and cheap, and there’s a fridge in the room – very handy. Wi‑Fi worked well. Rooms 5 and 6 aren’t en‑suite; there’s a shared bathroom in the hall, but it’s inconvenient to fill the kettle or pop to the loo without disturbing others because the door locks are noisy.

Great location and the big double‑bed room was spacious. Good value for money. The host was very accommodating with the early check‑in we needed because we were heading to the football match that day.

Convenient and tidy, that’s about all I can say. The room felt dated and it was unpleasant to see paint peeling from the ceiling. The floor slanted so much that I could feel off‑balance even while lying down. We could hear people in the adjoining rooms, and the doors kept banging late into the night and early morning. Our suitcase kept moving on its own, and one drawer opened by itself—definitely not a paranormal experience!
