Owner Giuliana is a gem, the breakfast is abundant and varied, the house is pure romance, the whole family is wonderful, and the dog Otto is a real delight. The shower curtain in the bathroom is inconvenient, but that’s a minor issue.

Lovely host, a magical place with beautiful views. If you’re after silence, peace, and visual experiences, we wholeheartedly recommend it.

The surroundings, quiet, friendly host, and central location near many sights. The owners run a restaurant in Volterra (about 15 minutes drive from the accommodation, though the road isn’t perfect) and offered us a wine tasting with wines from their own vineyard, very well organized. You could see Volterra from the terrace, the sunset was gorgeous, and in the evening you could hear the forest owl. How beautiful that is. The paths over the fields. We were unfortunately short, and that’s a reason to come back. No complaints.

The secluded location and tranquility are unique and dreamy. Giuliana is very helpful and friendly in every way, making you feel at home. Breakfast is a dream and we were surprised with something different each day—bellissima! The pool is gorgeous. Even with more guests, the place remains a haven of calm and idyll. We didn’t need the kitchen. Everything is there, but the kitchen and its equipment are rather Spartan. The first drive is exciting via the field road, but it’s not a problem. The house is easily reachable.

It was simply beautifully located… we had a great time relaxing and unwinding with the whole family. The pool was super cool and the view was breathtaking. Moreover, Guiliana and her family were wonderful hosts; we felt very comfortable. It’s not a luxury apartment, so if you expect high‑class equipment, you might miss a few things in the kitchen… but the price‑value ratio fits, and that’s something we can only confirm.
