Ants were in both the kitchen and the bathroom, and there were holes in the furniture that weren’t well repaired.

The price was the only good thing, and the location was decent. The property looked generally run down; the grounds were poorly kept with overgrown lawns and gardens. Inside the rooms felt very dated and not very clean; the shower curtain was filthy and mouldy.

I liked that it was a separate unit with its own carport and that the interior was tidy. The signage could be better; you don’t realize that Canterbury Court is actually Econolodge unless you look closely at the sign. It also claims free Wi‑Fi and Sky, but we couldn’t get Sky TV on the TV and the Wi‑Fi kept dropping out. It had a deep musty smell that set my asthma off, forcing me to open all the windows to get airflow.
