I was impressed by the friendly reception and the well-maintained facilities, plus a small terrace and a clothesline. Parking is available right next to the hotel. About 400 m away is the Ideal Cafè, a great spot with good coffee, pastries, a terrace, and a pleasant atmosphere. The only downside is that you need a car to get to the hotel and to move around the area.

The tactical location, extremely friendly and very helpful staff, newly renovated house and rooms that are really beautiful and clean, and the owners’ little surprise of finding water and local products in the room is truly the highlight.

The breakfast offered a wide variety, including savory options, plenty of jams, honey, and even the chance to choose from a selection of cold dishes. Domenico and his wife were exceptionally kind, letting us use the kitchen freezer for our popsicles because the room fridge was tiny and lacked a freezer. They were very hospitable, and if I ever return to Caulonia, I’d definitely stay here again—it’s literally a stone’s throw from the sea. The only gripe is the milk at breakfast; the cappuccino machine wasn’t great, but everything else was fantastic.
