The room was damp, and truck noises were loud and constant all night.

The reception staff was incredibly friendly, even printing maps for me and handing me a bottle of fresh cow milk; everything else was perfect, with no complaints at all.

The pool, the friendly staff, and the great location were all highlights, but the temperature was so high that the fans couldn't keep up.

The host lady gave excellent tips to head into Otorohanga for a roast meat takeaway, where the lamb was the most tender I've ever tasted, and the owner was a lovely lady.
