I liked the location and the promenade with its nice lights at night. The breakfast is also good, with plenty of variety and quality. I didn’t like the bad smell in the corridor leading to the rooms; the carpet seems untreated or simply in poor condition, or maybe the corridor lacks ventilation. It really stinks! This hotel is in the same building where floors one to three are Ibys and from the fourth floor up is Novotel. I checked one of the Novotel floors and there was no smell at all, so the problem is only in the Ibys section. I also wasn’t very happy with the pool, which is accessed by steps that seem dangerous, especially for children who might jump and land on the steps, and it is very deep at one point. Two meters and forty centimeters of depth seems excessive. I was with my three young children and when we went to the pool, I had to stay alert all the time.

“A delightful stay with friendly staff who spoke English. A bit out of the way from walkable restaurants and bars”

The place feels very modern, but the pool area gets so crowded that finding a shaded seat feels like a premium experience.
