“Overall the stay was good”
The staff were amazing and very friendly. Breakfast was consistently good, though repetitive, and the view of the pyramids with their coffee was spectacular. The single beds in the second room were comfortable, and the AC worked perfectly to heat the room during our January visit. P.S. you must try the Chinese restaurant right next to the hotel – it’s incredible! However, this isn’t a 5‑star hotel (maybe for Egyptians, but not for Europe or North America). I would rate it 2‑3 stars. There were leaks in the toilets in both rooms we stayed in, and they were not cleaned as they should have been. It seems no one taught them proper cleaning. We had to change rooms and pay extra to avoid sleeping on the terrible mattress that gave me back pain. The amenities need renovation; they’re not terrible but require an upgrade to attract more guests. I’d recommend staying here to save money, but bring flip‑flops and use them under the shower.
