This place is stunning at the foothills of Mt. Sorrow; from the moment I arrived, the farm owners Merran, Jeremy, their son Sam, and the rest of the staff impressed me with their care. Even though they run a busy fruit farm, they still dropped extra supplies, towels, and food at my door during my six‑day stay and shared information about the area. The cabins are few, beautifully kept, spotless, and fresh. The exotic fruit tasting and tour was both entertaining and informative, teaching me a lot about their regenerative farming practices and the lesser‑known fruits. There are plenty of tours from the Cape Tribulation area, or you can simply rest, relax, and reset. I walked the Dubuji boardwalk to the beach every day; it’s such a unique and magical place.

The spot was great. There was nowhere to sit comfortably, no mirror in the bathroom, cockroaches, no place to hang clothes, and a scary dog on the property. The breakfast offered was high in sugar/fructose. That said, I understand it’s a remote location and hard to provide all modern comforts. I thought $450 per night was very expensive for what was offered.

The accommodation was pretty and comfortable in a peaceful setting. If you’re after calm and quiet, it’s perfect.
