“Soc celiaca i tot molt deficient”
Outside it looks good, inside it’s not. There’s no place to leave bags, no wardrobe. Reception is almost non‑existent.

The location is the best. Breakfast is good. The bathroom is complicated, the toilet is very high and the shower stall is hard to reach. The hotel needs urgent renovation, or at least good maintenance! It keeps the same 20‑year‑old setup that I experienced when I first stayed there.

The room and breakfast area were spotless, and the walk to the historic center was short. My friend and I woke up every night because the mattress springs made loud noises whenever she shifted; we talked to the manager and they fixed it. The room and shower were cramped, breakfast was mediocre with only hard‑boiled eggs and no meats unless you pay extra, parking cost 16 € per day which felt steep, and the Wi‑Fi worked only if the door stayed open—acceptable during the day but uncomfortable at night after dinner when I had to check emails; the lobby Wi‑Fi was fine.

The staff, especially Luca, were very friendly and let us check in early and park our car on the hotel premises. Breakfast was good and the hotel is within walking distance of downtown.

They gave me a large, comfortable room on the second floor. The hotel is just steps from Pienza’s historic center, so you feel like a local and can come and go in minutes. It has a nice pool, good parking, and a delicious breakfast. I have no complaints about the hotel. The only thing I didn’t like was not staying two nights instead of one in Pienza, and of course staying at the same hotel!
