“Pessima esperienza. Sconsigliato!”

The bed was fairly comfortable, but the pillows were very low quality. The whole organization was embarrassing: they asked for my arrival time, I gave a margin for traffic, yet they insisted on minute‑precise timing with relentless WhatsApp messages. There was no on‑site service or staff, the apartment was damp and cold (very cold), the room smelled like dirty rags, the window couldn’t open (it faced a light well), and there were only two towels. The constant noise from a pump made it impossible to sleep.

Francesca was courteous and helpful. The room was on a high floor, the building had very old windows but it was quiet. Wi‑Fi worked well. A kettle was in the room as advertised with a tea option. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There was a coffee machine at the entrance and a small fridge in the room. The bathroom shared a 3 m² space with other guests. There was no hook in the room to hang towels or a wet raincoat, though there were four hangers in the wardrobe but that wasn’t enough to keep a wet coat separate from dry items. The Ikea furniture was subpar. The room lamp didn’t work (probably a burnt bulb) so I improvised with a lampshade. Genoa is pricey for accommodation, and I felt this place was expensive for the quality. The coffee machine broke on the last day, so no coffee.

“Tuvalet konusu çözülürse çok iyi”

The location and the parking near Piazza della Vittoria were great and quite cheap (about 6 EUR per day). The only disappointment was that the toilet was outside the room.

“No cumple con lo que ofrece”

The location was good. I didn’t like that a tourist tax was added at check‑in that wasn’t advertised anywhere, and that the hotel claimed to offer breakfast but actually didn’t—only a €3 voucher for a nearby café, while the breakfast on Booking was ten times more expensive. I also didn’t like that they advertised free coffee but the coffee machine didn’t work.

We really appreciated how the key‑code entry gave us freedom; it was easy to grab our bags after checkout when we took one last stroll around town. A couple arrived at midnight with a dog, and the noise during check‑in made it hard to sleep.
