The rooms were more or less clean, the sheets were nice and white, but the owner clearly didn’t know how to be hospitable or simply didn’t care; the property overall was extremely shabby and unwelcoming.

The reception was friendly (free), parking was right at the door or very close on the square, a nice cozy garden served breakfast and was also used for the restaurant, pets were allowed, and the room and bathroom were very tidy. The side entrance, where the stairs are close to the door, made it hard to bring luggage to the rooms and required some getting used to.

The classic sweet French breakfast was calm and relaxing, but a repair is urgently needed on the staircase ramp. Nothing else noteworthy.

The stairs were very dangerous, but everything else was fine.

The parking is right next to the property, and it's a short walk from the familistère, where you can eat in the evening and enjoy a good breakfast. It was a bit expensive; there were cheaper rooms available, but they weren't offered to us.
