I was blown away by the food and the venue, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful – I can’t think of anything to complain about.

The room was spacious, quiet, and the restaurant was lovely. The staff were friendly and motivated, but the sink in the bathroom was awkwardly placed.

The location and elegance of the gardens, especially the kitchen garden, and the size of our room overlooking the garden were great, as was the spa. However, the reception’s position forced us to carry our luggage past guests having tea, the fairy lights in the salon/carrier dining room were lacking, and the bedroom windows needed cleaning.

The hotel was stunning, surrounded by beautiful scenery. The staff were attentive and the food excellent. Absolutely flawless. Nothing to add.

The hotel is excellent, set in a beautiful location, and the staff were superb and friendly; the breakfast, fine dining, and bar food were all top quality, and it’s well positioned for exploring Suffolk and NE Essex. Nothing to note otherwise.
