The apartment was roomy and the host was genuinely kind, and having the place all to ourselves was exactly what we wanted.

The spot is ideal for visiting Borgo, the room sits at the village entrance near the Castle, and the shared kitchen/living area is wide and bright, with both the kitchen and bathroom spotlessly clean. The room itself is tight and only has a small window, though the view is nice. The host is very responsive on the phone, but we’d have liked more guidance on navigating the area and locating essentials like toilet paper; the house seemed to offer just the bare minimum in both supplies and information. For the price we paid, we expected more. In the common areas, clean towels are stored in an unsupervised closet; if you don’t know the other guests, you can’t be sure they won’t return dirty towels, which felt unhygienic. Additionally, the private room’s glass door meant we were woken multiple times by other guests leaving lights on in the corridor and stairwell. Overall, the value for money isn’t great.
