The room was well arranged, no closet but plenty of space. It’s a room built in a street‑level building, literally open the door and you’re on the sidewalk; there’s no window. Ventilation only works when you open the door to the street.

“Ottimo posto auto!”

I was shocked by the noise from a neighboring apartment that opened onto my room, with smells, sounds and shouting that started at 5 am and made sleep impossible; the bathroom had a useless hydro‑massager instead of a practical large shower; the Wi‑Fi was missing; breakfast was just a coffee and a brioche; at least we managed to park the car after some back‑and‑forth.

The host, facilities and town were great, but nobody warned us about the construction site—though the workers were friendly—and the walls were so thin that we could hear all the construction, neighbors and traffic.
