The place was noisy because it’s right next to the main highway, but it met our needs. We were upset when we arrived to find our room already given to someone else; it seemed a film crew had taken all the rooms, and the reception staff showed no interest in helping us.

The manager, Elsibie, was an outstanding host who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable—she’s a superstar! The restaurant food was fantastic, so I highly recommend it, though the bathrooms really need a serious overhaul.

I found the place cost‑effective and off the main road, so I didn’t need a 4x4, and there was a restaurant on the property. The staff were lovely, the air‑con in my room was a must, and they provided an extra blanket for the winter chill. It was close to where we needed to be. At first, there was no hot water and I had to ask for help. The garage is nearby, so trucks made noise during the day and early evening.

I enjoyed my stay, but it feels a bit rundown compared to when I stayed there two years ago. The bathroom tap was leaking, yet the breakfast was awesome and delicious. The upkeep of the place could be better; it’s a bit rundown.
