The location is superb, just a stone’s throw from the trail. Rooms are clean, well maintained, and fully equipped. Reception offers books and board games that you can use in the lovely common dining hall, and coffee and tea are available all day as part of the breakfast price. The breakfasts are varied and delicious, though mostly vegetarian. The restaurant is only open on weekends for non‑guests, so during the day if you want lunch or dinner inside the property the selection is very limited—mostly soups and one or two main dishes, and it would help to have a notice at the bar indicating which items are sold out. There are no spots for a grill or campfire, a restriction explained by fire safety incidents; we understand that, but an electric grill for rent at reception could be a nice addition.
