Affordable, good overnight stay for a crew, just okay. Unfortunately no breakfast, and the restaurant was closed on Monday.

“Wir haben den Burgwaldpfad bewandert und waren froh über ein recht ruhiges, sauberes, kühles Zimmer.”

Check‑in and check‑out were hassle‑free. There’s no street right by the building, the guests are quiet, and there’s almost no noise except the train signal. The facilities are simple but clean. The train line runs very close, and the signal startled the dog.

The place was noisy, the bed was uncomfortable, the cleanliness was poor, and everything felt worn out.

The location was surprisingly nice and the décor behind the restaurant was well done; the motor could eat well under the awning 👌🏿. The beds, however, were hard.

The pension offers a very good restaurant with a pleasant beer garden, and the staff there were friendly and helpful. The pension sits right next to a railway line and slightly offset behind or beside a gas station, so anyone wanting quiet will not be well served. The rooms urgently need modernization; the furniture is greasy and emits a rancid smell, and the bed creaks with every movement.
