The bed was very comfortable, but the location is terrible – it’s an hour from the beach and tourist spots, and the pool looked dirty.

This place is about 40 minutes from the harbor, in the mountains, and the scenery is beautiful if you’re after absolute quiet. The humidity in the room was around 100 %; everything was damp, and my bed, towel, and belongings were wet the next morning. I left early because I didn’t feel well.

We spent three nights at this guest house, which sits in the middle of the island, deep in the mountains, making access difficult because of the slope and rough roads—hard on a scooter. Still, its location let us get close to all the activities (snorkeling, beautiful beaches). When we arrived we found a very calm and pleasant place, and we especially met Budi and his wife, who were extremely kind. Since we didn’t want to rent a scooter, we relied on Budi to get around for the day. The host also showed us wonderful spots away from the mass tourism. Special shout‑out to the delicious evening meals and breakfasts. Thanks again for everything; we loved our stay and highly recommend it!
