The staff greeted us warmly and were incredibly helpful, yet I wished there were a few more vegan choices. We each ordered the Sunday roast—my friend chose the veggie version and I chose the vegan one—yet the price was identical, even though I didn't receive the Yorkshire pudding because it wasn't vegan. They could have added extra vegetables or something else to the vegan dish to make it fair.

The bedding quality was lovely, the staff friendly, and the products charming. The menu was limited but the pizza was nice, though more vegetarian options would be nice. Parking was a struggle; I had to leave my car at the train station. Even with a fan, it was extremely hot, and the window opened only a fraction. The room lighting was very dark.

The location is great, close to town and the river. Unfortunately, the staff were not very friendly or helpful, and the tea cups served to me were dirty with stains. When I asked for a replacement because of the dirty cups, no apology was offered.

The room was unique, with the bedroom and bathroom on a higher level. It needed a bit of TLC: the toilet had a leak that looked like a temporary silicone fix and the paint could use a refresh. The air‑con was a bonus, but the top window was left open with no way to close it, so I’m not sure it worked fully. Breakfast and dinner were lovely with amazing staff, though I received an incorrect order at breakfast and the dinner service was extremely slow. The location was amazing and the outdoor space gorgeous, but it was a hot summer weekend and very busy.

The room and bathroom were beautifully decorated and very comfortable, especially with the air‑con. I loved the toiletries too. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the scrambled eggs at breakfast were overcooked; otherwise everything was fine.
