“A promising apartment resort for young families”
Elldus Resort openly admits it isn’t a typical hotel, and for families with small kids that’s a relief – the apartments in the Fips category are spacious, thoughtfully furnished with toys, and stocked with everything a child might need. The resort offers playgrounds for every age, a surprisingly good buffet with healthy kid‑friendly options, and a large play barn that makes traveling with little ones a breeze. I also liked how they handled food intolerances and allergies, offering a great selection of gluten‑free bread and a separate toaster oven for GF bread. On the downside, the value for money feels a bit off because the resort still looks like it’s in the middle of renovations. For instance, the children’s spa has a lovely sauna and a toddler pool with toys, yet two almost empty rooms there only contain two rockers, a table, and little else – that space could be better utilized. The playbarn’s soft play castle is great, but a rainy‑day toy area or more entertainment for older siblings, like water slides or a game room, would be nice. The main pool is beautiful but small, good for splashing with kids but not for a decent swim. Given the price, I would have appreciated free luggage service and bathrobes available in the rooms.
Very cozy and comfortable again. The only downside was that there could be a few more parking spots.
“Comfy resort for families. For solo travel is so-so.”
The spa area was nice. This resort is definitely family‑friendly. I was alone, so I was surrounded by families with noisy children, but that’s fine. The resort is well organized, and the directional signs are very helpful. The building block names are funny; mine was “Schneke”.
War alles super nur leider wurden wir mit 65 und 66 Jahren in der 5 Etage untergebracht was für uns sehr anstrengend war
Checking out before 10:00 am on the day of departure feels a bit early, especially when you have kids (in my opinion).
