“OK für eine Nacht in einer Tourismus-armen Gegend”
I rarely see tourists at this place; everything feels authentically Japanese, even the switch from street shoes to slippers at the entrance. English communication worked well through a translation app, and the onsen was open all night. The hotel looks old‑fashioned, with stained carpets and dated furnishings, and the room doors slam loudly into the lock, letting you hear other guests come and go. Though it’s rated 2 *, the price was as high—or even higher—than some 4 * hotels we booked in more touristy spots, probably because there aren’t many accommodation options in the area.
