We appreciated the warm welcome; the staff was very helpful and, being Brazilian, we enjoyed speaking with her. The room was spacious and cozy. Because it’s a country house, we did find a few bugs in our room.

I really liked the property, the gardens, the pool and the accomodation. The employees who work there are very kind and hard working. Beautiful sunsets and lots to explore in the area. I did not like the way the owner / manager treated the staff. On multiple occasions he would scream abuse at the younger international employees in such a humiliating way that it made me incredibly uncomfortable. The main manager there, who I think is the business owner, needs to understand that you cannot treat people the way you do. You can’t scream at them at all. If you mistreat your staff in front of guests, then how are you treating them when we aren’t around? The manager screamed in such an angry and deranged way, that the younger employees had to close doors to drown him out so guests wouldn’t hear. Totally unacceptable behaviour and totally Unprofessional. You need to better support your staff, train them well, develop manuals, and treat them with dignity and respect as they are human beings. I felt it was also quite racist as he was shouting at the younger staff who were from other countries. I was not impressed at all. The staff themselves were lovely, but I was genuinely worried for their safety

Everything was perfect—so much peace, beautiful accommodation, and everything considered. We’ll definitely return.

The staff were friendly, but the waiter at the restaurant seemed a little clumsy. The bed and linens were comfortable. However, the room itself didn’t match the description or the pictures on the website. It was a deluxe double, yet it felt cramped and dark; you could literally fall over when you opened the door. Some lights were out, the shower tiles were broken, and the shower itself was unusable until I fixed it. There were cigarette burns on the toilet cistern, the chairs were broken so we couldn’t sit, and the handle on the external door fell off. The room had no tea or coffee facilities. I’m undergoing chemotherapy, so this stay was meant to be a small treat, but it was a major letdown and a disaster for the price.

I landed in Rome and needed a place right away, so I chose this hotel because it sits in a gorgeous setting. The room was tastefully decorated and felt spacious, not cramped at all, and Hassan and the rest of the staff were exceptionally welcoming.
