“Instagrammable (joli) vs réalité (on est gelés et loin d’être seuls!)”
Staying in an airstream was fun and very Instagram‑worthy, though the site actually feels more like a campground with over 80 spots. We couldn’t turn off the air‑conditioning, which kept blowing cold air all night because the remote didn’t work, leaving us shivering through a short, miserable night; at least we enjoyed roasting marshmallows with the wood we’d brought. While the reception building looks nice, the overall camp is basic and the receptionist seemed unfriendly and a bit weary of her job, making us feel we’d be better welcomed at a roadside motel for half the price. The cost is far too high for the limited service, especially since the “breakfast” is just a hot drink for about $400, lacking any real hospitality or exclusivity.
