“Amazing place - Inspiring story”

I was searching for a cheap place and discovered an inspiring life experience. The spot is comfortable, quiet, clean, and an oasis of peace with an amazing story. This family of seven children is so motivating. I can’t imagine James building all the houses and buildings by himself with the help of students, teaching them almost free of charge the craft of building (they just have to bring a sack of cement) while also providing free food and lodging. “The family and place are wonderfull!”

The place was gorgeous, and we were amazed by the surrounding rocks! Mark, our host, guided us around and we had a fantastic time together. The family we met is among the best we've encountered in Uganda. The food was fantastic, and in the evening we enjoyed sitting around the campfire. It’s definitely worth visiting, and everyone will love this beautiful spot and its people!

The warm hospitality and welcome were great, as was the care. I arrived feeling very ill, and they immediately made me a drink and a steam bath. My son had forgotten his hiking boots, so a taxi was quickly sent to pick them up. 👍 The location needs attention: the address wasn’t correctly listed on Google Maps, but Mark found us and we eventually got to the place.

“Un paradis !”

The houses were perfect in local yet modern style. The sheets smelled wonderful and everything was clean. The setting, surrounded by rocks, was soothing and out of the ordinary. Jimmy and his parents are very kind and generous, hardworking people who deserve success. If we had more time, we would have stayed longer. They explained things about their village and even cooked for us late at night—delicious! Jimmy’s mother was very nice, and it was a pleasure to chat with everyone. Everything was very calm and the accommodation was easy to find. A 10/10, see you soon! Nothing negative.
