Hotel Kervansaray

The spot was great for walking to the city’s main sights, but parking was an issue, though the manager kept a spot for me at the entrance. The place was clean, and breakfast in the morning was enough until lunch. The front door key didn’t work, yet the manager explained it was normal and that everything would be fine. Inside, the room felt a bit off because the door was simply closed. The room’s equipment was a bit worn from time, but functional, and the mattress was good—sleep was comfortable.

The location was convenient, walking distance to the main sights, and the staff were excellent, offering useful bus info to Kars and even giving us a lift to the minibus company about 2 km away. Breakfast was basic but sufficient. The facilities were very old.

The location near the train station was good, and we could grab breakfast early before catching the nearby bus.

“Hôtel pratique, proche de la gare”

The hotel works for a short stay in Erzurum, and the front‑desk staff were very friendly even though I don’t speak Turkish. The rooms, however, aren’t well sound‑proofed.

The location is excellent, the staff are very kind, and the breakfast is tasty and healthy. There’s a supermarket in the same building and smoking facilities.
