“Disappointed”

The property was well‑situated, but the elevators were broken, forcing us to walk up and down 23 flights of stairs repeatedly, and the staff never communicated when they would be operational again.

“It was fine, comfy, clean.. I thought the front desk staff could have been a little more friendly”

I noticed there’s no breakfast served at this spot, but there are several coffee shops just a stone’s throw away. The Wi‑Fi isn’t included; you’ll have to shell out an extra $10.00 per day, and that wasn’t obvious to me at first. I mentioned it at the front desk, they handed me a VIP pass but seemed a little annoyed. The place is quiet even though it’s in the middle of a lot of buildings, and it’s handy for both downtown and the West End. A few restaurants are nearby. The one‑bedroom suite was tidy, the bed was comfortable, and there was a small gas fireplace that added a nice touch. It’s a good size for one adult or a couple, but a bit cramped for a group of three or four. Plenty of windows let in a lot of light. The only downside was that the pool pictures were misleading; the actual pool is in a different hotel building across the street, so I didn’t bother going there.

“Great spot, keep an eye on the cost and your bank account.”

The space and location were decent, and I could use the health club across the road. I also got a 10% IGA discount if I asked at reception, and the staff were very helpful. Unfortunately, I was double‑charged because the third‑party booking system didn’t send the reservation through, and I’m still chasing the money the third party took from my account. Extra Holidays, the third party, had terrible communication, overcharged me, and didn’t coordinate with the hotel. If you want this place, book directly.
