The location was absolutely perfect, waking up to lake views and sipping coffee on the balcony; the staff were extremely friendly and professional, the room was clean, and the beds/pillows were comfortable—everything was great.

Nothing positive; everything was negative.

I was thrilled that the hotel sits right on the water and every room comes with a balcony overlooking the lake. The place feels small and quiet, and its proximity to restaurants is a bonus. The beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept on in a hotel. On the downside, there were plenty of spiders in the stairwells—though they were on the outside stairs in the fall, so that’s understandable. The upstairs walkway is also very squeaky, and I worried I might be disturbing other guests when walking by.
