“Relaxing and lively place to stay”
The vibe was really lively, and walking into the garden was a pleasant surprise – a nice spot to unwind. However, there were dogs off‑leash. I have dogs that react to other dogs, so I was very careful to avoid situations where loose dogs approached. The garden is fenced; on the day I arrived I checked for dogs before bringing mine in, and a guest let her dog loose. I explained I was bringing my dogs and didn’t want any trouble; she understood and there was no problem. On the day I left, two dogs were loose all morning. When I went out for a swim I couldn’t tell who owned them; they were running between levels. Just before about 11 a.m. I checked again and the dogs were still loose, but a woman I think was cleaning a room was there. I tried to explain that I was about to take my dogs through the garden to the car and asked if she could get a hold of her dog. She did, but it was a bit slow. The paperwork says no dogs off‑leash, but that was my issue; otherwise I really enjoyed my stay!
