We liked the space of the house and the pool, which was a real bonus on hot Alentejo days. We missed some kitchen tools, like ones that wouldn’t damage non‑stick pans, so we only made small breakfasts. The worst part was the cleaning lady entering before 12 pm, the check‑out time we were told, while we were still getting ready to leave; she went from room to room and even surprised someone still using the toilet.

The house is very spacious, set on a huge plot in a quiet little village. The pool is great, just watch out for the hidden screws around it that could hurt someone. I think they’re for the pool cover. The reception was very attentive, the hosts are friendly, and the house was clean, especially the kitchen. I’d just suggest better bedding and pillows, and replace broken items like the electric coffee maker, the two umbrellas, and the broken loungers around the pool.

The house is huge, with five well‑equipped rooms each with a private toilet. The kitchen has everything needed for comfortable meals. The barbecue area is perfect for evenings, and the pool is very pleasant. Everything is great. The beaches are about a 20‑minute drive and are worth it; Carvalhal beach is top. Highly recommend! 5☆

The house is large and roomy with all the essentials for a pleasant stay. The bathroom in one room doesn’t drain well. The deposit method isn’t ideal; we had to hand over 250 € in cash at check‑in, but no host was present at check‑out to inspect the property and return the deposit. Cleaning staff took the keys at check‑out and only returned the deposit the next day. In our view, the inspection and refund should happen when guests leave and are present; otherwise we can’t prove if something was damaged.
