The location is excellent and the inn has a very atmospheric feel. There was no parking at the inn, so we had to leave the car at a paid city parking spot. This was not clear from the inn’s description.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hostel Skippy! The highlight was the hostess, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Her hospitality was exceptional, and she went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information we needed. She gave us excellent recommendations and practical advice about getting around. We were planning to take an early train and thought the train station was much closer than it actually was. Thankfully, she explained the real distance and suggested different transportation options, including taking a bus to save money or a taxi for greater convenience. Her advice was extremely valuable, and we truly appreciated the time and effort she took to help us. The accommodation itself was lovely, cozy, and full of charm, with a beautiful wooden cabin atmosphere. The location was also very convenient. Although it might seem slightly outside the very center, Český Krumlov is a small town, and everything is within easy walking distance. Everything was excellent, but what made this stay truly special was the kindness, professionalism, and genuine care of our wonderful hostess. She deserves special recognition! The only small detail that could be improved was the shower. The bathtub had a handheld shower, but there was no shower curtain, glass door, or any type of splash protection. This made showering a little uncomfortable because standing up would cause water to splash all over the bathroom. We had to shower while sitting or bending down to avoid getting everything wet. It was not a major inconvenience, but adding a simple shower curtain or some type of splash guard would make the bathroom much more practical and comfortable for guests. Apart from this minor detail, everything was absolutely wonderful!
