The location is great and the price is decent, just a short walk from Akihabara and Suehirocho stations and all the nearby sights and shops; however, the stairs are a serious hazard— I nearly dropped my 20+kg suitcase twice when leaving, and the stairway is too narrow to bring down anything larger than a small suitcase.

I stayed at this decent stopover hotel that has all the basics and is well connected to transport; I’m not sure I’d stay more than two nights, but we only stayed one and it was fine. The staff is absent and the instructions to get to the room are not very clear. The room is noticeably smaller than most other hotels in Japan, which are already on the smaller side.

The tiny hotel is very nice and only 8 minutes from Akihabara Station. Everything is there: a nice bed, good air‑conditioning, a good shower, and it gives a pleasant vibe—nothing out of the ordinary. The friendly staff only speaks Mandarin but did their best. The floor was a bit dirty, the windows are thin, and there’s loud construction nearby, so earplugs are required.
