“Worth a night stay for the breathtaking views”
The tent gave us a once‑in‑a‑lifetime view of the Kodai hills, a breathtaking sight that felt like living among clouds and mountain peaks, and we even caught the sunrise from there; the Poombarai Murugan temple was just a walk away. However, the rooms lacked a ceiling fan, AC, or any fresh‑air inlet, making the nights a bit stuffy once the doors were closed. Since food is delivered in parcels because there’s no in‑house restaurant (which makes sense for the type of stay), I’d advise guests who want fresh meals to walk directly to the Sabeer family restaurant near the temple instead of dealing with packed foods. The tent is best for evenings to early mornings, around 8 am or so, after which it gets quite hot, so it’s wise to plan other sightseeing spots like Mannavanur Lake or Kookal Falls.
