“Website needs to state clearly what the accessibility issues are to the property and show photos!”
I liked the yoga, but it was surprising that the retreat only offered one session a day at 7:30 am. Mosquitoes were everywhere during the yoga, and I ended up with many bites even though I used bug spray and covered up. Breakfast options were very limited because I’m allergic to egg; the same dishes were cooked differently each day without any notice. I’d been eating rice because it had no egg, but on the last day eggs were added without warning. We were charged different prices for the same additional breakfast items. The staff didn’t seem very friendly, and it felt intimidating since there were often many staff members together but not speaking to guests. The toilet made a strange glugging sound, and the walls were so thin you could hear the staff on the other side and people in the next room. Access to the property was terrible and not clearly stated on their website, and with a no‑refund policy it feels like they’re trying to trick people into staying. My mother, who is in her 60s and has mobility issues, would not have booked if she had known that the only way up the very steep hill was by scooter (often with no helmet offered). The fridge was broken and we were given no warning, so when we opened it our bottle fell out and broke. No compensation was offered. I would lock my room door when I left for the day, only to return and find it unlocked.
