This hotel is fantastic and in a superb spot. I can’t recommend it enough. The room was spotless and the bed was super comfy. The front desk and breakfast staff were absolutely amazing. Thanks for looking after us so well.

The hotel’s location is great—far enough from the bustling town centre to be quiet, yet close enough for a short walk to shops and restaurants. The rooms were very clean, and we had a balcony with a lovely lake view to sit and relax. However, there was no soundproofing from the room above us; we could hear a tap running and water flowing early in the morning, which woke us up. Every flush upstairs sounded like a waterfall in our bedroom, and we could hear each footstep above. The bedroom and bathroom lacked privacy, and the privacy screen for the toilet—partly misted glass—had gaps that made the situation embarrassing for the person on the toilet. There was no wardrobe in the room, only a ridiculous rail and a few coat hangers. The bathroom sink was at knee level with a tall pot, which was odd. The hotel focuses on trendy features and appearances in brochures, but it doesn’t function properly and is very expensive for what you get.
