My husband and I celebrated our 10th anniversary there; the spot was spot‑on and the room was fantastic, plus we enjoyed the rooftop bar. The breakfast was a let‑down – they charged more at booking for a limited menu, so we left on day two.

The hotel is lovely, well‑located, and the roof bar is exceptional. Unfortunately, a very rude receptionist ruined our stay; when I asked for a white taxi to the port she seemed annoyed, and when I requested an invoice she claimed she’d already given me one, which wasn’t true. Her attitude was awful. On the bright side, the staff at the check‑in desk and the roof bar were excellent. It’s disappointing to leave feeling annoyed, especially since this isn’t a budget hotel – manners should be a priority, and I wouldn’t want guests to leave as we did.

The location is great, rooms are spacious (especially the bathrooms) and the staff is very friendly. However, the rooms need renovating and feel quite outdated, and the breakfast could use more variety.
