The surroundings and the place were cozy, and I think we had one of the best rooms, though the breakfast could have been better and wasn’t particularly exciting.

We arrived on a Thursday and the bar offered a dinner deal for Friday night, but the menu was unknown and they insisted on pre‑payment that same Thursday, so I declined. Four of us ate Thursday evening, and when we asked for separate checks we were told it wasn’t possible because we were at the same table; the waitress was stubborn and wouldn’t budge, so we ended up booking dinner for Friday and Saturday instead.

The breakfast buffet was great, but the lounge chair was worn out, the loft lamp didn’t work, the shower drain was clogged, and a vacuuming session would have helped.
